Malby Architects have designed a complete refurbishment for this family house in Ladbroke Grove, London. The project involves constructing a basement under the house creating a large entertainment space and an additional bedroom with en-suite bathroom. A double height glass rear extension with an open staircase connects the ground floor and the new basement. A new side extension increases the width of the rear section of the house and a new loft extension provides an additional bedroom with en-suite shower. The entire house is to be refurbished and this has allowed the property to be converted from 3 bedrooms to a 5 bedroom family home.
