Haunch of Venison, the leading contemporary art gallery, approached Malby Architects to review its reception area and design a new reception desk.

The reception desk has been designed as an island to give more control over people movement in the large ground floor reception area. The desk floats between two columns and has a gloss finish to contrast with the existing stonework. The desk can be split into two pieces and wheeled around to suit exhibitions and allow access for large pieces of artwork.
